tsdmusic This is just a great hardrock album. All of the tracks are pure emotion and solid with really good songwriting. Any Seether, Smile Empty Soul, and Nirvana fan will like this album. The songs catch you in this infectious groove that keeps you listening to the album over and over again. Solarist is definitely a band to watch for in the coming years, and I feel this 4 peice with their power writing skills will be a band that will formulate into something great. Tracy of The Circus In Your Town Favorite track: Radio.

1.
Slave 04:35
I no longer believe in you Not after all the things you do It’s not like you wonder why It’s not like you even try I kneel to you I’m not like you This shadow over me I can’t be This shadow over me I can’t breathe I want you Believe in what I’ve done for you I need you Believe in what I’ve made of you Take and break what I have made Shake and pray for all you’ve done To forsake the chosen one To make these lies run plentiful
2.
So do your fucking best To remove my context After all it’s me The one with the disease If you won’t leave Then nothings meant for me Hoping I will go Broken that’s for sure You’re frustrating me And killing my beliefs Could you help me to believe Be more like you So here’s another chance Test my complex Show me what is best Hit me like the rest Break me just to see Do I still bleed I’ll wait and see
3.
Illustrate 03:34
I’m not right So tell me how I’m supposed to feel So I might Learn to deal with all these pills And sleepless nights Another chance a wasted life Bring me back to life Illustrate my life Tell me I’m alright You alright Never know just what to feel Would you like To learn to seal away your fears And sleepless nights Another chance a wasted life
4.
Raining 03:32
Was I so wrong enough ( Feel My disease ) For you to keep your love ( Nothings for me ) Watching what once was us ( I’m on my knees ) Watching the loss of trust I’m so sorry I’m so sorry It feels like it’s raining Hoping and praying Just don’t deny me Feels like I’m dying Was I not good enough ( Feel my disease ) For you to shed my blood ( Nothings for me ) Watching what once was us ( I’m on my knees ) Watching the end of lust I’m so sorry I’m so sorry
5.
Radio 04:20
I suppose I’ll watch you fall I’d rather not at all Heard enough about you Enough to know that it’s not true So put me on The radio So I Can expose Everything I know Everything and more I’m trying to expose How this will go Your excuses not to call Only further piss me off I see through into you Enough to know that you’re not true
6.
I can quit If I like it I can’t fit Cause I’ve tried it Hoping I Just could find it Why’d you lie When I found it I’m starting over Again So I hide Thought I’d like it Close my eyes Now I fight it Hear these lies Taken from my side Open wide I’m starting over
7.
Never 03:52
All of this time You’ve worn your disguise Till you pull out your knife And buried me alive So now I know the truth I never needed you This guilt that I hide It seems was never mine Now I walk away You don’t know the truth ( Cause now I know )
8.
Last Night 03:10
I can’t remember The night before Broken and withered But I’m not hurt And I can be late for you I will drink my Myself blind And no one Will ever know why For you And I can be late for you And I can be shame for you And I can be blame for you And I can be hate for you
9.
Pray 03:42
You’re broken how I like Always wanted you I hurt you like I would Just to be a man The demons Pray for me Again Pray for rain Just pray for rain Just pray they don’t take you away Just pray they don’t take me away from here I’m broken like your lies Just to get you way Every time I try You slip away Just pray for rain and wash me away
10.
Fall Apart 05:01
You think it’s alright If I stay the night I’m blinded by your light I hope you don’t notice That I can’t focus I’ll never get this right Out of focus I’m so fucking nervous Why do I cling to light Don’t let me fall apart And I swear I almost felt my heart Continue to make me fell of use Cause I have nothing left to lose Right here next to me Never noticing I’ll lay here instead Like I’m not in my head I’ll hang on every word Don’t let me fall Cause I won’t hold on
11.
Talk down to me These filthy hands mean nothing to The pride you beam Uneasy smile But I can see your Stationary sanctuary Lies it brings Have brought me to my knees I won’t break like you You take away my faith And let me fall from grace I hope I’ll find a way It’s you I will repay You take away Catch release You’re caught inside the Web you weave Of tangled lies But I can see the Stationary sanctuary Underneath Is a burning in the breeze Excuses turn to treason You lost your chance to reason You no longer have to doubt me Good luck have fun without me
12.
Holding On 03:35
Oh no again I just can’t win Here we are again The same as we are How am I to change All discretions made Now we’re the same Now adjust to fade I’m holding on To damn tight And I can’t release I’m holding on To damn tight And I can’t I won’t release The memories I’m on the run From all your lies Forget your face I need the sun Fuck you and your name Fuck all your ways Forget your hate Forget everything

about

Solarist is the birth of the music that follows bands such as Nirvana, Seether, Smile Empty Soul, and the Deftones. Seeking It's seemingly very different identity.

Frontman Tom Carden (Singer, Songwriter, & Guitarist) is the driving force behind the band’s dark tone, & thoughtful lyrics. With Drummer Drew Ralph’s ability to offset the darkness of the band with a brighter approach to the songs is the perfect storm. Once you add in Bassist Fred Creelman’s ground breaking lows, With the highlights of Guitarist Malcolm Cox, you end up with some of the years biggest singles like “Illustrate”, “Radio”, & “Fall Apart”.
